The chalet was lovely and comfortable
There was not housekeeping on a daily basis and only coffee stocked for one day so had to go request more for the second day. The remote for the main tv did not work and there is no staff after 8:00 to deal with these issues.
It was in Canmore, The large pool was good.
Our unit was run down and very dirty. The chalets need renovating. The bedding is old and needs replacing. The hot tub will be closed for some time due to a leak, and they should have notified their bookings so they could decide if they want to stay or book another hotel with a hot tub. A number of the Chalets back onto the Trans-Canada Highway.
Beautiful bldg and location. The staff were awesome. My children really enjoyed the pool as they went in every morning, and everyday before or after dinner. Staying at the chalets was like having your own home.
Quiet location. It could be a great place to stay but our chalet no 114 needs some work.
Cleaning service was poor, Beds not made, had to ask for towels to be changed on x2 of our 4 day stay. Maintenance issues: x1 hairdryer didnt work Air con thermostate coming off the wall. Shower head hanging out of the wall, Toilet base fixture coming away, Crockery & cutlury not clean. Dishwasher not been emptied for our check in.
The staff were quite helpful, except that it took them 2 days to get us batteries for the tv remote. The location is awesome, and we had so much space.
The only thing that was not top notch about our chalet were the beds. They are too soft, and anytime the other person in bed moves it feels like an earthquake. None of us got a very good sleep, even those sleeping alone.
The location suited us and we liked the lay out of the buildings with the pool and BBQ in a center courtyard. We also liked the idea that they have a hospitality room which can be used for a group dinner for our cycle group.
Concerned that one wing of condos are backed up to the highway which may be noisy. We were on the other side and did not hear any road noise
All the comforts of home and close to Banff.
Luxurious, comfortable and I was able to meet up with family and friends as I ended a week long conference in Canmore. We were able to make our own meals, share good food and company in a very comfortable setting.
Rooms are much better than the pictures of its website. Two story, 2 bedroom townhouse, with full kitchen, dining area, living area. A shared back yard with four bbq, pool and Jucuzi. Should be a comform place for a long stay for families.
It was my mistake anyway. I did not notice "Pet allowed" when booking. The rooms were very clean, and I did not smell anything. But our night was restless, we (three adults and one toddler) all got a sworn throats in the morning. Until in the morning, my son found serveral animal hair from the sofa. Then I realized this chalets allow pets. We are not alergic to pets, I still do not understand what made all us felt like flu sick. From every other aspects, I really like this chalets. It is a pity that we can not enjoy it.
Clean. Decently equipped kitchen. easy parking / unloading. patio. court yard with quick access to pools. open windows. Friendly helpful staff.
soft older beds. dark interior furnishings. the pool was closed for cleaning & repair.
rooms were very comfy and easy to stay at. nice hot pools.
nothing we really disliked....the info page said beds would be made and towels changed daily and they were not.
It was great to have a place to unwind, cook, socialize with our families.
We wer disappointed with the hot tub being out of order for 24 hours during our stay. We were looking forward to using it after skiing but could not due to lack of maintenance on December 28-29.
-Proximity to recreational venues, e.g. golf, scenic trails, picnic areas, swimming pond -Scenic view from chalet -Convenient for family groups- we had 3 adjacent suites on rear courtyard-pool area -Good layout with kitchen/eating area separate from family/TV room -Separate upstairs bedrooms, each with a bathroom
-Had to rely on strret parking on occasion. Usually was able to park near the complex.
Stayed at the hotel for one weekend night. Staff was extremely helpful. Listened to our request to make room available before 4 pm, if available. The staff called us on our cellular phone around 2 pm and told us room is available. We had two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. Kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher, clean utensils, plates , cups and coffee maker. We also enjoyed the gas barbecue available in common area outside. Hot pool was available but swimming pool was under renovation. In summary, hotel exceeded our expectations in comfort, cleanliness and amenities.
Perfectly set up with all the comforts of home and accomodating for our 2 dogs, with access to the street right out our door and a trail close by that led right to the dog park. The girl at the main office was very pleasant and friendly.
More dishes and dish towels would be nice.
